The Russian-Americans United Arts Council (RAUAC), a nonprofit 501©3 corporation, was established under the name of Creative Collective Arts Center in 1999 to preserve, support and promote the rich artistic and cultural heritage of the Russian-speaking community on the east coast.
What you can do on our site:
• Find out about our short but very exciting history and explore numerous volunteer and internship opportunities by visiting the about page.
• Learn about free or low-cost concerts, exhibitions and festivals produced, co-produced and presented by the council or its numerous community partners. Download community toolbar or sign up for our newsletter.
• Browse through the directory of our talented artists and, (even better) hire them for your next concert, festival, or special event.
• Apply to perform or exhibit during our next event.
• Explore different ways to support our work through donations, sponsorships, investments in the arts and shopping for a cause by visiting support page.
• Write a very nice article about the great job we’re doing. We also really do not mind requests for radio and TV interviews.
• Become a contributor to our blog or YouTube pages and become our friend on Facebook and/or Odnoklassniki. Contact for details.

• Lauri Narita (Program “Hope”) and Vyacheslav Burda have become the newest members of the board of directors. Welcome aboard! For more information, visit the about page of our site.
• We actively participate in the United Council of the Greater Philadelphia Russian charitable organizations and mass-media. Organization, naturally, is responsible for its cultural programming. See below for the next big event on May 31st.
• Council and Charitable Program “Hope” are partnering to present First International Children Festival on June 7th in Lorimer park. See below for more information
• We are planning to restart our well-known program “Art Salon” under the new name “Encore”. We are inviting multicultural performing artists of all genres that are comfortable to perform in small venues to apply for this bi-monthly event. For more information, visit our artists page. Our council is partnering with similar organizations in Washington, DC, New York, Michigan, and Alaska to start new website featuring festivals and other Russian-themed cultural events in their respective regions, serve as a forum for organizers to exchange ideas and leads in the areas of fundraising, promotion, content, logistics, etc.
The council has created a website and is looking for volunteers to help make it a reality. If interested, please, send your letter of interest indicating necessary skills and time availability to marketing@russianamericansarts.us
